Who we are
Hi there, we're Iwo and Cassi, the duo behind The Sacred Tree, and we're thrilled to share our journey with you.
Iwo, with his roots in Germany and Bulgaria, brings a unique blend of cultures and experiences to our creations. His journey as a photographer led him to travel the world before settling in Ibiza almost a decade ago. That’s where he discovered the enchanting beauty of olive wood, igniting a passion for sculpting it. From his globetrotting adventures to settling in Ibiza and now Mallorca, Iwo's love for nature's wonders, animals, and the thrill of creating has been the driving force behind The Sacred Tree.
And then there's me, Cassi, a true Mallorcan at heart with a dash of British charm. An absolute animal lover who loves getting creative in the kitchen. After spending my formative years in England, fate brought me back to Ibiza, where Iwo and I crossed paths and fell in love.
Four years ago, we embarked on a new chapter, moving to Mallorca and after an extensive time of producing and planning we finally brought our vision for “The Sacred Tree” to life.
The Sacred Tree is more than just an idea; it's a reflection of our shared love for the earth's natural wonders, their preservation and the creative spark that lies within us all. It represents our journey, our dreams, and our commitment to infusing life with art that resonates with the soul. Each of our creations is a unique piece, a narrative woven with love, passion, and the magic of nature.
But this whole project is not just about creating beautiful products and art; it's about giving back to the world that inspires us.
That's why we've partnered with the NGO “One Tree Planted”, channeling a portion of our proceeds towards reforestation projects worldwide. With every purchase, you're not just acquiring a piece of Mallorcan elegance; you're also contributing to the preservation of our planet's natural treasures.
To back it up, on our blog we offer you weekly information and news about environmental-conscious projects and events in Mallorca, sustainable living in general and news on success stories of positive developments in these fields (there is enough bad news out there...let's focus on the good ones!).
